Breakfast is served every day on the first floor in Stora diakonisshuset. The breakfast room on the conference floor has a high ceiling and its own terrace, which is very popular on warm days. Most of the products in the breakfast buffet are either organic or ecolabelled and local. For example, all of our bread comes from a local bakery.
On the second floor of the main diaconia building are our director rooms. The rooms have a view of Stockholm's inlet or the park area at Ersta church. Here you live in a cozy and individually furnished room that still has some original details intact, such as wooden floors, windows and in some rooms even wallpaper.

Here is the story of how women pioneers started hospitals and education in 1850s Stockholm and about how healthcare, education and diakonia have developed since then. The museum connects the past with Ersta diakoni's work today. A lot has happened during history, but the driving force in our work - helping people - is as present now as it was then.
The exhibition contains, among other things, historical images, authentic objects, soundscapes and information about the future plans for Ersta diakoni.
To participate you need to sign up for the tour when you register and pay for the congress. The Guided tour has a limited number of participants. First come, first served.
